No hidden fees, no "quote on request" nonsense. Here are the real ranges — split by what kind of work you're after.
These are real ranges from real recent work. Your exact figure depends on the state of the garden, what you'd like done, and how often. The estimate from your photo will sit somewhere inside one of these.
A single visit to bring things back to neat. Most small-to-medium gardens that have been left for a few months.
A larger restoration. For gardens that have been patient with you for a year or two, or that need real attention before the season.
For gardens that have been seriously left — years of growth, structural problems, or large-scale clearing before a redesign can begin.
Before we quote properly, we visit your garden in person. The inspection fee covers Gordon's time and travel for that visit, and is always credited against your final invoice if you proceed.
It's priced by distance from us, because a half-day round trip and a ten-minute drive are not the same job. You'll see your exact fee before you book the visit — no surprises.
Every landscaping and new build project is different enough that a price band would be misleading. What we can tell you is how the commercial structure works, and roughly what to expect.
A proper site visit and design conversation — typically an hour at your property. Measurements, vision, constraints, honest scope. This is where the real thinking happens.
A patio, decking area, new path, raised beds, fencing, or planting scheme. Scoped and quoted after the consultation.
A full garden transformation or new build plot from bare ground to finished garden. Phased delivery, proper materials, and a space you'll actually use.
For maintenance and restoration, the inspection fee is a small visit charge that gets you a quote. For design and new build projects, the visit is a proper design consultation — a substantive piece of work in itself. We agree the consultation fee before we book it, and it's credited against your project total if you proceed.
We won't quote a design project without a site visit. A plan that's been built on a proper conversation is one that actually gets built.
Full refund of any visit or consultation fee, no questions asked. Just let us know more than 24 hours ahead.
The visit fee covers the visit itself — so it isn't refunded. But you owe nothing further and no quote or proposal is sent.
The visit or consultation fee is fully credited against your final bill. You only pay the agreed total.
Free, with no obligation. Just tell us about your garden.
